CRAFT visited the Manchester Museum once more to carry out the 3D scanning of a few cartonnage pieces that awaited completion. At the time of the first visit, these pieces were part of the successful exhibition Golden Mummies of Egypt, which also travelled across USA and China.

Object of this second visit were, primarily, cartonnage pieces positioned on ten mummified individuals from the Fayum Oasis plus a number of additional mummy masks. Once again, these have been completely recorded with a structured blue light scanner and photographed with a high-resolution DSLR camera.
